                                                                                                                                            the Law Offices of William R. Satterberg, Jr. has been an active litigation firm in Alaska involved in cutting-edge cases throughout its existence.  The firm accepts both civil and criminal litigation.

       In civil litigation, the firm places particular emphasis in personal injury and wrongful death litigation.  The firm ordinarily does not accept cases in the fields of bankruptcy, workers compensation, or family & domestic law.

       In the field of criminal law, the firm has handled several landmark cases in the area of constitutional rights, and has been involved in major state and federal criminal defense cases, ranging from violent crimes to drug crimes, economic crimes, computer crimes, and sexual offenses, to include sexual assault, sexual abuse, and allegations of federal and state child pornography crimes.  The firm also represents clients accused of both federal and state environmental and fish and game violations.

       In additional to practicing statewide, the firm also handles cases on a pro hac vice basis in other states throughout the United States.  An affiliate office in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands practices in complex civil litigation.

      Representative clientele have included individual clients, business clients, insurance companies, construction companies, Alaska Native Regional and Surface corporations, municipal and state governmental entities, and overseas clientele both in the far east and in Europe.

       Attorney William R. Satterberg, Jr., is assisted by a strong paralegal support staff, as well as an extensive secretarial and accounting staff.

       Office hours are flexible and can be tailored to meet client needs.  On weekdays, the firm begins operations at 7:30am, and remains open over the lunch hour until 6:00pm.  Weekend and evening appointments are available.  The firm prides itself on being a service firm which is user-friendly to its clients, since without that most important element, the firm could not exist.

         Mr. Satterberg does not currently own a BMW or genuine Rolex, but that could always change.
